Introduction
We are looking for a sewer cleaning operator for one of our clients based in Virginal (Ittre). Our client is a company specialising in industrial cleaning.
You will be working with local authorities, wastewater treatment plants and private customers. Our dynamic team operates a fleet of fully equipped lorries in a demanding yet varied environment.
Function
Your tasks
- High-pressure cleaning in industrial settings (sewers, networks, treatment plants)
- Working in pairs on each task
- Driving heavy goods vehicles (≈ 201 hours)
- Daily return to the warehouse after a shift
- Notification of local residents prior to certain works
- One-off visits to private homes
- Occasionally entering the sewer system
Prerequisites
Ideal candidate
- A Category C and/or CE driving licence is required (reflected in the salary)
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and unusual environments (strong smells, insects, underground spaces)
- Very flexible working hours: start at 5.30 am, end of the day varies
- Able to work as part of a team and independently and proactively
- Enjoys physical and varied tasks
- Respectful of equipment and a job well done
- Reliable, punctual, dedicated
- Any experience in industrial and high-pressure cleaning is an advantage
Offer
What we offer
- Contracts from Monday to Friday (36.5 hours per week) — weekends on a voluntary basis only
- Salary in accordance with the pay scale (minimum €18.45 per hour (with a C/CE driving licence))
- Meal vouchers: €3.60 per day
- RGPT allowance: €1.63 per day
- Clothing cleaning allowance: €0.4905
- Mobile phone allowance: €20 per month
- Reimbursement of travel expenses
- Training in specific job-related skills provided
- Weekly schedule (subject to change during the week)
- Temporary work with a view to a permanent contract
