Introduction
We are looking for a motivated technician to join an international construction company!
Function
Following a period of in-house training, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production, machinery and robots.
You will carry out preventive maintenance, monitor the production process and adjust the machines and robots correctly. You will identify and resolve faults using PLCs (Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7), contribute to process improvement and actively promote the safety policy.
Prerequisites
- Technical qualification or experience in an industrial environment
- Familiarity with PLC programmes (Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal) and variable frequency drives
- Solution-oriented, inquisitive and analytical
- Equally at ease working independently or as part of a team
- Dutch-speaking and/or French-speaking
- Willing to work shifts (mornings/afternoons and at weekends) and to take part in a rota of on-call duties
