Introduction
We are looking for a motivated breakdown or maintenance engineer for a dynamic manufacturing company in the food sector.
Function
You ensure the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment within production, packaging, potato reception and utilities (steam, cooling, compressed air, water treatment). I resolve faults across all operational departments, identify shortcomings and overhaul equipment and structures where necessary.
Prerequisites
- A diploma in electromechanics, preferably with 5 years’ experience as a breakdown or maintenance technician
- A BA5 certificate is required!
- Forklift certificate: a plus
- Strong both mechanically and electrically
- Dutch-speaking; knowledge of French is an advantage
- Willing to work in two shifts (weekly) or at the weekend (2×12)
