Introduction
We are looking for a motivated maintenance engineer for an international manufacturing company in the construction sector.
Function
Following an induction period, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production, machinery and robots. You will focus on preventive maintenance, diagnose faults via the PLC (Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7) and resolve them independently. You will contribute to improvement proposals and actively promote the safety policy.
Prerequisites
- Technical qualification or experience in an industrial environment
- Familiarity with PLC programmes (Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal) and frequency converters
- Solution-focused, independent and a strong team player
- Willing to work on a continuous night shift rota: 4 days on / 4 days off (6 pm–6 am)
- Living in the Zonnebeke area
- Comfortable in a harsher industrial working environment
