Introduction
We are looking for a delivery driver with a Category B driving licence for one of our clients based in Forest
It’s not just a matter of driving a van. You have to load and unload, ensure safe delivery, set up the equipment and deal with customers.
Function
Your responsibilities:
- Carry out deliveries and the loading and unloading of equipment.
- Moving house (houses and flats)
- Check the roadmap
- Clearing out storage units
- Driving a van or small lorry
- Check the condition of the vehicle before each journey (safety, tyres, lights, cleanliness) and ensure the load is secure (fastening, straps, organisation of equipment).
- Strictly adhere to the Highway Code and safety regulations.
- Ensure the safety of the goods being transported.
- Be versatile and help out in the warehouse when needed
Prerequisites
Your profile:
- A full driving licence is required
- In excellent physical condition (as you’ll need to carry heavy loads)
- Available to work during the week and occasionally on Saturdays
- Versatility
- How to get to Forest easily every day
Offer
