Introduction
Our client is a well-established company specialising in the sale and maintenance of gardening equipment and outdoor infrastructure.
As a technician, you are responsible for diagnosing faults, maintaining and repairing a wide range of gardening machinery — from small hand tools to large ride-on machines.
Function
- Maintenance and repair of small garden machinery (chainsaws, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, etc.)
- Maintenance and repair of large machinery (ride-on mowers, tractors, etc.)
- Diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and engine faults
- Commissioning and start-up of new machinery
- Customer contact when dropping off and collecting devices
- Drafting of work orders and technical reports
Prerequisites
- Technical qualification (mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, agricultural engineering or equivalent through experience)
- Experience in mechanics
- Skilled, thorough and solution-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Category B driving licence
