Mechanic

Introduction

Our client is a well-established company specialising in the sale and maintenance of gardening equipment and outdoor infrastructure.

As a technician, you are responsible for diagnosing faults, maintaining and repairing a wide range of gardening machinery — from small hand tools to large ride-on machines.

Function

Maintenance and repair of small garden machinery (chainsaws, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, etc.)
Maintenance and repair of large machinery (ride-on mowers, tractors, etc.)
Diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and engine faults
Commissioning and start-up of new machinery
Customer contact when dropping off and collecting devices
Drafting of work orders and technical reports

Requirements

Technical qualification (mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, agricultural engineering or equivalent through experience)
Experience in mechanics
Skilled, thorough and solution-oriented
Good communication skills
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Category B driving licence
