Introduction
We are looking for a motivated mechanic for an international manufacturing company in the construction sector.
Function
Following an induction period, you will be responsible for the corrective and preventive maintenance of the machinery. You will work to technical drawings, maintain and repair machine parts, and contribute ideas for improvements. Knowledge of welding, turning and milling is an advantage.
Prerequisites
- Technical qualification or experience in an industrial environment
- Good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics; knowledge of electricity is an advantage
- Knowledge of welding (semi-automatic and electrode), turning and milling
- Independent yet a strong team player
- Day shift: 6.54 am–3.45 pm (Fridays until 1 pm), with the option of two shifts or a continuous shift system
- Living in the Zonnebeke area
- Comfortable in a harsher industrial working environment
Offer
- Gross hourly wage from €20, excluding shift allowances (higher depending on experience)
- 20 days’ leave + 1 extra day + 3 ADV days, to be chosen at your discretion
