Operations Coordinator

Introduction

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator for one of our clients based in Anderlecht!

Organisation

As part of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for the operational coordination of the warehouse. You will ensure that logistics operations run smoothly, from goods receipt to order fulfilment, whilst maintaining high standards of quality, punctuality and efficiency.

Function

Logistics Operations Management
● Coordinate all end-to-end logistics operations: receiving, storage, order fulfilment and dispatch.
● Ensure that orders are available and of high quality within the specified timeframes.
● Keep the warehouse tidy, clean and running smoothly.
Team management
● Manage, support and motivate a team of around 20 staff members.
● Ensure that a calm working environment and a positive atmosphere are maintained within the team.
● Welcome and train new arrivals.
Technical support and tools
● Act as the key user for the warehouse management system (WMS): monitoring developments and updates, and liaising with IT.
● Identify areas for improvement in the tools to optimise operations.
Resource management
● Identify the materials, equipment and supplies required for the smooth running of the warehouse.
● Track orders and ensure resources are available.
Continuous improvement
● Monitor the implementation of internal processes.
● Propose ideas for operational improvements in the medium term.

Offer

We offer:

One interim period for approximately 6 months, with the possibility of a permanent role afterwards!
A gross monthly salary of between €2,600 and €2,900
Meal vouchers worth €7 per day worked
€160 net of fixed fees

Requirements

Your profile:

Are you passionate about the world of organic products?
You already have experience in logistics
You have a master’s degree in management, economics or logistics and have some initial experience in logistics/supply chain management
You are very confident with IT tools in general and are adept at using Excel
You are a hands-on person with strong organisational skills and a thorough understanding of the requirements involved
to a warehouse.
You are flexible and able to adapt to the circumstances of the moment, whether in terms of working hours or workload.
You’re an energetic and positive person! You’re able to keep your spirits up even on the more stressful days
